Verder did not invite Mesut Ozil to Diego`s farewell match. On Saturday, a farewell match via soccer-insider-tips of the former midfielder of the Bremen club and the Brazilian national team will be held. The players who played with Diego in Werder, Juventus, Wolfsburg, Atletico and the national team will take part in it.
However, Tim Visa and Mesut Ozil were not invited to this meeting.
We agreed with Diego not to include Mesut in the list of invited, since recently he has taken actions that do not correspond to the values of the Bremen Verder.
We did not invite Tim`s visa to Diego`s farewell match, and we reported Diego about this. Moreover, some time ago, Tim publicly announced that he no longer wanted to have anything to do with Verder, "the club representative said.
As Bild writes, the decision not to invite Ozil is due to the ties of the ex-football player with the organization of Bozkurt (gray wolves)-the extreme right and most radical youth wing of the party of the nationalist movement (MHP), which adheres to the ideology of Turkish nationalism and panturkinism (the doctrine, which is based on the consolidation of the Turkic peoples-Athletes ``).
It is noted that the relationship between the visa and Verder was also tense over the years - the former goalkeeper was reproached for close ties with the ultra -right.
