Hamilton called himself slow after Friday in Qatar. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton spoke candidly about seventh position in qualifying for the sprint at the Qatar Grand Prix.
Same as every other qualification, not that great.
I`m just slow. Same thing every weekend. The car was relatively decent. No problem. There`s really nothing more to say, " said the seven-time Formula 1 champion.
The Briton also shared his thoughts on Saturday`s sprint:
On long stretches the feeling is not the worst. But when you`re so far away, it`s almost impossible to fight for victory. However, this is a sprint. Tomorrow I`ll do what I can.
Are there any positive aspects? Not really. The positive thing is that the car is fast and George [Russell] should be on pole tomorrow.
Lewis found it difficult to answer the question about his problems:
Who knows? I`m definitely not fast.
