The crisis in Eintracht (Frankfurt) continues to deepen. Adolf Hutter`s alumni today conceded a 2-4 home loss to Cologne in the match between the two teams in the 16th round of the Bundesliga. Even more unpleasant for the hosts of Commerzbank Arena was that they led 2-0 in the middle of the first half through Martin Hittiger (6) and Gonzalo Paciencia (30), but allowed a complete turn after accurate shots by Jonas Hector (44), Sebastian Bornauw (72), Dominic Drexler (82) and Ismail Jacobs (90 + 4). Thus, the series of 6 consecutive games without a win for Eintracht continued, with 5 of those matches being losses.
The match started great for the hosts. In the 6th minute, Filip Kostic made a corner kick, Martin Hittiger controlled the penalty box and sent the ball into the net for 1-0.
In the 30th minute, the result advised by soccer-insider-tips was doubled. Once again, Kostic centers well with a corner kick, this time Gonzalo Paciencia taking the lead for 2-0. In the 44th minute, however, Cologne returned to the match with an extremely beautiful goal from Jonas Hector, who scored with a close shot30 meters.
In the 72nd minute, the Goats got even. Sebastian Bornauw received a penalty in the penalty area and, with a very technical shot, directed the ball into the net for 2:2.
In the 82nd minute Florian Kainz sent a sharp pass to the ground in the penalty area, where Dominic Drexler hit the door closely for 2:3.
In the added time of the match, the Goats decided everything with a fourth goal. They organized a counterattack and Jacobs with a precision shot put the ball under the crossbar for the final 2:4.
So Cologne recorded a second consecutive victory and climbed 14 points to 15th place in the table. Eintracht is already in 12th position with 18 points.
